I'm writing this the morning of TINYpulse's conference, TINYcon. Literally.
It's my favorite time of year - a chance to connect with and learn from people changing the face of employee experience. Last week, I had the great fortune to hear a ton of talks at two marketing conferences. I want to share my favorite with you.
Dharmesh Shah is the CTO and co-founder of HubSpot (one of the first really big organizations to use TINYpulse, coincidentally). He gave a talk called "Facing Fears: Growing Better by Growing Bolder", and I encourage you to watch the whole thing. It's great and funny and touching.
TINYcon is in its fourth year, which is pretty incredible. It's at its fourth venue in those four years. Last year was my first, and I really had a splendid time. When I found out it wouldn't be at the same venue, I was flat-out worried. I shouldn't have been - today I'm excited that we get to share a new experience with attendees.
Here's a spoiler from Shah's presentation: we fear change, but we really should fear stagnation. You can't grow by staying the same.
In light of that, next week's newsletter is going to look a little different - I'll be tweaking away based on your feedback. Reply to me and let me know what you'd like to see - I want to make this the best employee experience newsletter in the world. 😃
Cheers,
Tyler Adams Communications Specialist, TINYpulse
