Millennials in the workplace. What do they really want? We were curious, so we did some digging around. Our Ultimate Guide To Recruiting And Retaining Millennials uncovers what this young and driven generation is really looking for in the work environment.

And because this generation grew up with technology in their hands, it’s not so surprising that it’s on their workplace wish list. Here’s what they had to say:

From the looks of it, 35% of millennials believe their organization doesn’t make good use of technology. As a generation notorious for job hopping, this number should worry you.

Millennials are digital natives. The US Chamber of Commerce found that Gen Y are also 2.5 times more likely to be early adopters of technology than their older counterparts. This crowd expects technology in the workplace.

In today’s world, communication isn’t just about face-to-face interactions, emails, and phone calls. Millennials expect nothing but the latest technology. And if your company isn’t willing to embrace it, you’ll be sure Gen Y won’t be embracing your company either.
