The 2 Key Drivers Of Employee Happiness

by Laura Troyani on Feb 12, 2015 11:00:00 AM

What drives employee happiness? Is it salary, promotions, or being able to leave at 5:00 p.m. everyday? Turns out, the answer is none of the above.

In our first-ever Best Industry Ranking Report, we looked at 12 distinct industries to suss out which industries had the happiest employees, and which industries had ample room for improvement.

Much to our surprise, Constructions & Facilities Services ranked #1 as the industry with the happiest employees. And when we dug in to their responses, two clear reasons rose to the top:

  1. Satisfaction with the quality of colleagues and managers

  2. Satisfaction with their everyday work and projects

Now, don’t go putting on your hard hat to find the nearest construction site! The findings from our Industry Report can be applied to any workplace, any geography, and any group of employees.

Join us on Wednesday, February 25, at 1:00 p.m. EST for our webinar on raising employee happiness through the roof. We’ll take you through all of the Report’s findings, showing you what drives happiness up and down, and what steps any leader can take to make positive workplace improvements overnight.
