You’re probably wondering how we measure workplace happiness ...
Once a month, we ask employees at over 500 companies around the world how happy they are at work. We separated the companies into 14 different industries then track the average happiness score for each organization.
Optimized-Marketing started when people were approaching Bryan Trilli to ask for help with online marketing. Seeing as this is the second year in a row that they've won this award, they've got a few pointers about employee engagement that we can all pick up.
We got a chance to speak with the team to go behind the scenes of the organization to find out what makes Optimized-Marketing one of the best places to work. Let's see what they had to say.
A: In answer to the TINYpulse question, "If they were making a movie about your organization, which actor or actress should play your CEO and why?", it was most often suggested it would be Sheldon from Big Bang theory. (I wore my bazinga shirt for the video at my team's request.)
A: Our teams’ answers were focused around two things. First, our annual off-site retreats and all the fun things we do at those. Second, the feedback from our clients that our scientific approach to marketing is helping them grow their businesses and has been the best marketing investment they’ve ever made.
A: Every year, we get together for a retreat where we go go-kart racing, skiing, hiking, and participate in other forms of outdoors shenanigans. It’s really fun to get together with people you only hang out with virtually, as we all work from home in different states. We travel to different locations to experience new things together and get to know each other better on a personal level. Below, you'll find a picture from our retreat in Durango, Colorado last year and another in San Francisco from the year before.
A: We asked our team to do this through a TINYpulse custom question in December, and the three most-common terms that came up were: love, service, and testing.
