You’re probably wondering how we measure workplace happiness ...
Once a month, we ask employees at over 500 companies around the world how happy they are at work. We separated the companies into 14 different industries then track the average happiness score for each organization.
What's it like to work at a young, innovative, and creative company? Just ask the employees at Influence Mobile. Their unique culture fosters an environment where employee engagement thrives, collaboration clicks, and leaders care.
We got a chance to speak with the team to go behind the scenes of the organization and find out what makes Influence Mobile one of the best places to work. Let's see what they had to say.
A: We have a lot of young employees (60% in their 20’s), and when I announced we had won Happiest Place to Work for a second year in a row, a young employee who has only had one other job, looked at me with a very funny face and said, “What is it like to work at other places? Is it really that bad?” Almost like she didn’t think we deserved it! Everyone in the company laughed for several minutes, especially the more experienced folks because she didn’t really understand how different our environment is compared to other work environments.
A: I’m pretty happy all the time, but last summer we doubled the size of our company and grew revenue from several hundred thousand a month to several million all in 100 days! It was a pretty amazing summer! That made me everyone very happy!
We regularly sponsor Seattle Seahawk player charity events, so we get to do stuff like bowl with Earl Thomas or play softball with Richard Sherman.
We also go out together and help the community on the Union Gospel Mission Search and Rescue vans where we hand our food and supplies to the homeless in Seattle.
A: Truly value their opinions and create.
A: Honest. Caring. Motivating.
