Hi there,

I just talked to an old friend who's looking to move from marketing (boo! I'm a marketer) to HR (yay!). I asked her why, and she said:

"I want to be near the people."

me-bey

I hadn't thought of that. She went on to say that she'd seen good and bad HR leaders, and wanted to make sure the places she worked valued the employee experience. I think she's going to do great.

This week's newsletter is with her in mind - we've been having conversations in our office about the changing role of human resources. Let me know if I've missed any great, recent writing about HR and the many hats pros have to wear.

Cheers,

Tyler Adams, smiling at the camera in front of an orange wall
